This is a personal portfolio and blog. There is nothing to sign up for, no account to create, and no form to fill in, so there is very little to collect. This page says plainly what happens when you visit.
What this site does not do
It sets no cookies of its own. It runs no advertising, does not track you across other sites, and does not build a profile of you. There are no third-party embeds: no video players, no social media widgets, no comment system. Every link to LinkedIn, GitHub, Instagram or YouTube is an ordinary link, so nothing from those services loads until you choose to follow one.
Analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It is cookieless and does not fingerprint your device or browser. What it records is the page you viewed, the referring site if there was one, your country, and broad browser and device type. That is aggregated into visit counts. It is not used to identify you, and I cannot use it to single you out as an individual.
If you would rather not be counted, any content blocker that blocks static.cloudflareinsights.com will stop the measurement entirely.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser fetches them from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which means Google receives your IP address and browser user agent as part of serving that request. This is worth stating rather than glossing over, because it is the one place where a visit to this site touches a third party you did not choose.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. As with any web host, GitHub handles the requests and may log technical details including IP addresses in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. I do not have access to those logs.
What is stored on your device
One value, and only if you ask for it. If you use the light and dark toggle to override whatever your operating system prefers, that choice is saved in your browser under site-theme so the site does not flash the wrong theme next time. If you switch back to matching your system setting, the value is removed again. It never leaves your browser, and it is not a cookie, so it is never sent to any server.
Your rights
Because no personal data is collected here in a form that could identify you, there is nothing held about you to access, correct or delete. If you have a question about any of this, or about data handled by the third parties above, the quickest route is a message on LinkedIn.
Changes
If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. Adding anything that sets cookies would mean adding a consent banner, which is a large part of why the current setup was chosen.
